It is a light-weight insulation, with low-heat storage, low thermal conductivity, and is thermal shock resistant. It contains no binders, no furnace contamination, and shows no loss of strength after firing. Other attributes: resists most chemical attack, unaffected by hydrocarbons or water, thermal and physical properties restored on dying, flexible and resilient, conforms to any shape, and ideal for wrapping.

    Thermotect® boards are a vacuum-formed ceramic fiber insulation which are available in various grades to meet individual density and temperature requirements. These boards combine the lightweight, low-thermal conductivity, and thermal shock advantages of ceramic fiber with the high-tensile and compressive strengths of a rigid board. The rigid properties allow our board to be resistant to particulate and hot gas erosion along with most chemical attack and abrasion.

    Cer-wool® paper and rollboard products are produced from ceramic fibers and organic binders. These products exhibit high strength and flexibility properties, and are resistant to most chemical attack. They provide a very high insulating value and can be easily cut or shaped to individual requirements. Organic binder-free paper is also available.

    Wet Wrap combines all of the characteristics of blanket insulation with some of the same properties as boards. Like blanket, it is a very flexible insulation that will conform to any shape. It air-dries to a board-like consistency and is very resistant to particulate and hot gas erosion.
