Ceramic fiber is a generally light-weight insulation with low thermal conductivity, and thermal shock resitance. Ceramic fibers are often made from highly flexible fibers. This flexibility provides protection against tearing and abuse, while also enabling the material to conform to any shape - so that it may be used in both tight spaces and large cavities.

Ceramic fiber products are particularly useful for very high temperature applictions, and demonstrate an excellent ability to resist chemical attack. Also, many ceramic fiber products inhibit sound vibrations, making them effective acoustical insulators as well.

We also fabricate and distribute low bio-persistency fibers such as Superwool^® and Calsimag^®. Both products are alkaline earth silicates. Alkaline earth silicates satisfy high temperature applications while also allowing users to remain compliant with RCF substitution requirements.
